LIMA — Greater Lima Region, Inc. and Rotary Club of Lima announced the name of the downtown amphitheater project as well unveiled its logo Friday morning.
In October 2019, GLR invested $250,000 in the Rotary’s project, securing naming rights to what is now the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater.
“Rotary could not thank Greater Lima Region enough for their investment in our community and into the amphitheater and park,” Tracie Sanchez, President of Lima Pallet and Lima Rotary Club Past President, said in a press release. “This park will serve all of our community, and the name ‘Greater Lima Region Park & Amphitheater’ accurately reflects the regional impact we believe this venue will have.”
The amphitheater is planned to open in the fall.
