CELINA – A convicted sex offender who was living at an address other than the one filed with Mercer County authorities was arrested Wednesday.
Sheriff Jeff Grey said his office received a tip stating that Christopher Berogan, 29, had been living at 1400 W. Market St., Celina. The address of residence given to the sheriff’s office by Beroran, a convicted sex offender, was 3335 Oregon Road. He had been living at the Market Street address for several months, Grey said.
Berogan was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Mercer County Jail. He is being held without bond pending the filing of formal charges.
