Two injured in crash at state Route 309, Napoleon Road

AUGLAIZE TOWNSHIP — The Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury crash at approximately 11:45 a.m. Thursday on state Route 309 at the intersection of Napoleon Road in Allen County.

A 2008 GMC Acadia, driven by Kyle J. Williams, 20, of Lima, was traveling south on Napoleon Road and failed to yield the right of way. Williams was struck by a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Robert M. Boyle, 65, of Kenton, traveling east on state Route 309.

Boyle and a passenger, Emma R. Hutchinson, 44, of Alger, were transported by Lafayette-Jackson Township EMS to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Williams was not injured in the crash.

Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash, and safety belts were used in both vehicles. The Lima Post was assisted at the scene by Lafayette-Jackson Township Fire and EMS, Minich Towing and A&D Towing.
