Lima woman facing charges of endangering children, assault

LIMA — A Lima woman will be formally arraigned Friday in Allen County Common Pleas Court on charges related to injuries she allegedly inflicted upon a young child or children.

Cheyenne Hooper, 21, of Lima, was indicted by an Allen County grand jury on Dec. 12 on counts of felonious assault and endangering children, both felonies of the second degree.

Hooper’s bond was set at $50,000.

The indictment alleges Hooper on or about March 13 of this year “did knowingly cause physical harm to another” and “did abuse a child under 18 years of age,” and that the violation “resulted in serious physical harm to the child.”
