Lima man jailed on drug charge following execution of search warrant

LIMA – A Lima man was taken into custody Monday on a preliminary charge of suspicion of possession of hashish following the execution of a search warrant at his West Market Street residence.

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Lima Police Department’s SWAT team, executed the warrant at 2402 W. Market St. During a search of the residence law enforcement officials found suspected marijuana, hash oil, hashish and approximately $23,000 in U.S. currency.

The homeowner, Chadwick Reeder, 29, was jailed on the felony charge of suspicion of possession of hashish. Additional charges will be presented to an Allen County grand jury at a late date, according to a spokesman for the task force.
