Putnam sheriff cancels Level 1 snow emergency

OTTAWA — Putnam County Sheriff Brian Siefker cancelled the Level 1 snow emergency at 4:15 p.m. today. It had been in effect since 6:30 a.m. today.

A Level 1 advisory means roadways are snow-covered and icy. People should drive carefully.

Auglaize County, which doesn’t issue level emergencies, still warned people about slippery roads and drifting snow.

Allen County didn’t have a snow level today.
