Battles’ vehicle struck the guardrail of a bridge, began to roll and landed in a nearby creek, the sheriff’s statement said.

The crash remains under investigation. Assisting the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the Ada Fire Department, Ada-Liberty EMS, LifeFlight, the Ohio Department of Transportation and Minnich Truck Repair.
