LIMA — This winter season, West Ohio Community Action Partnership will be providing bill assistance for residents in Allen County, Auglaize County and Mercer County until March 31.
The Winter Crisis Program provides bill assistance for residents who have had their gas or electric shut off completely or have received a disconnect notice, have less than a quarter tank of propane and need help with coal and wood.
Eligible families have a household income at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. Residents who are looking to apply can schedule an appointment by contacting WOCAP at 1-855-286-7559. Once appointments are scheduled, there will be credit holds placed on accounts until the appointment.
