VAN WERT — The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that resulted in several people being injured Saturday.
According to a dispatcher at the Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at 1:24 p.m. on U.S. Route 224 at Harrison-Wilshire Road, west of Van Wert.
One person had to be taken by air ambulance to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, while several others were taken to Van Wert County Hospital by ambulance.
The names of those injured and details on how the crash occurred have not been released, as the accident is under investigation by the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office.
