WAPAKONETA —Wapakoneta Police Department officers were investigating a train/pedestrian accident at the CSX Railroad crossing at Auglaize Street.
According to police officials, the accident happened at 5:24 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived they found the pedestrian to be dead.
The investigation was ongoing but they say there was no indication of foul play.
The woman killed has been identified as Kimberly Simpson, 32, of Wapakoneta.
