LIMA — The Area Agency on Aging 3 has developed a new program, RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).
RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people age 55 and over. The agency is looking for volunteers that have an interest in giving back to the community.
Volunteer opportunities exist such as:
• Senior Patrol (working with Lima Police Dept.)
• Caregivers Respite
• Friendly visitor
• Teleservice
• Becoming a leader for Matter of Balance, Chronic disease self-management, powerful tools for caregivers and Geri-fit.
• Awakenings volunteer
• Disaster preparedness kits.
