LIMA — The Lima Police Department is holding a Trick-or-Treat Photo Contest on Oct. 26 during the city of Lima’s trick-or-treating event.
Chief Kevin Martin and photographer Sgt. Aaron Rode will be in the following locations: 5 to 5:30 p.m. in front of Lima Police Department, 117 E. Market St.; 5:30 to 6 p.m. at Precinct 2 COP Substation, 1003 E. Kibby St.; 6 to 6:30 p.m. at Precinct 1 COP Substation, 1110 N. Metcalf St.; 6:30 to 7 p.m. at Woodlawn and Lakewood avenues; 7 to 7:30 p.m. at Precinct 3 COP Substation, Bradfield Center, 550 S. Collett St.
Photos will be taken of the children with Martin. The photos will be posted to Facebook.
Members of the Lima Police Department social media team will narrow the photos down to the top three. Those three photos will then be posted in a contest post on Facebook and Instagram. The photo with the most likes will be the winner.
