4 sought in Rite-Aid armed robbery in Lima

LIMA — Lima police are searching for four people who took part in the armed robbery of a Rite-Aid pharmacy late Thursday.

According to Lima Police Department Detective Steve Stechschulte, three people, each carrying guns, entered the Rite-Aid store at 302 W. Robb St. at about 10 p.m. Thursday. A fourth person reportedly remained outside the store, he said.

Based on accounts from witnesses in the store at the time, Stechschulte said the robbers forced customers to remain in the store and ordered some to various parts of the pharmacy.

Employees and customers were victimized during the robbery, but no shots were fired and no one was injured, said the detective.

Anyone with additional information surrounding the robbery is asked to call Stechschulte at 419-812-0059.
