SIDNEY — A Sidney man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday evening in Shelby County.
At about 11 p.m., Shane L. Pennington, 39, was southbound on Jackson Road near Sidney when his 2006 GMC Denali went off the right side of the roadway. Pennington over-corrected, went off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.
A medical helicopter took Pennington to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Pennington was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
