PPEC sending crews help with hurricane relief

PAULDING — Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op will be sending crews and equipment to assist in Hurricane Irma recovery effort.

Four linemen are being sent to Mitchell EMC in Camilla, Georgia, to help. They will be gone for at least 10 days.

PPEC employees are also organizing a food drive to fill a semitrailer with nonperishable food to send to Hurricane Irma victims. This event will be at 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the company headquarters at 401 McDonald Pike.
