June 7

Selena C. Chasco, 21, 220 S. Main Cross St., Apt. A, Leipsic, was sentenced to 36 months in prison for felonious assault. She was given credit for 67 days served as well as any additional days served while pending transfer, and must pay restitution of $2,254.67. A charge of possession of drugs (cocaine) was dismissed.

Jason A. Leap, 40, 1963 E. Main St., Ottawa, was granted judicial release. He was placed on three years community control. He must undergo counseling, obtain and maintain employment, have no contact with the victims and undergo drug and alcohol use monitoring. He was originally convicted of felonious assault.

Nationstar Mortgage, LLC, Coppell, Texas, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Scott A. Salisbury, Ottawa, in the amount of $44,144.72, with interest and costs.

June 8

Amberlynn R. Parker, 32, 1292 E. Main St., Ottawa, was sentenced to 15 days in jail for domestic violence. She was placed on three years community control and given credit for eight days served. She must undergo counseling at Pathway Counseling Center and follow all recommendations, and not consume alcohol.

Irma Bogart, Ottawa, and Thomas Bogart, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Nov. 6, 2009 in Ottawa, and have one child.

Lewis J. Palmer, Continental, was granted a divorce from Lisa A. Palmer, Oakwood. They were married July 2, 2009 in Defiance, and have no children.

June 9

Ronald G. Maxwell, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Phyllis E. Woodward, Burbank. They were married Dec. 3, 2014 in Florida, and have no children.

May 30

Elias Paniagua, 48, 255 Cedar Court, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. He was also fined $50 for front license plate required.

Kayler Yoxtheimer, 18, 4295 N. West St., Lima, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine, and six-month license suspension.

Audrianna M. Weisbrod, 24, 743 S. Metcalf St., Lima, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. Sentence: 90 days jail, 60 days suspended, $100 fine. She also pleaded guilty to driving under FRA non-compliance suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, with sentence to be served concurrent.

Marissa J. Jennings, 22, 304 Main Street, Gilboa, pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, 40 hours community service.

Brenda J. Lindeman, 49, 400 Olt Road, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to driving under judgment suspension. Sentence: $200 fine. She was also fined $100 for unauthorized plates.

June 5

Victor B. Lomeli, 40, 38 Main St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $250 fine, complete mental health assessment.

Thomas J. Martin, 21, 17055 Old State Route 65, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to driving under OVI suspension and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $250 fine, license suspended 12 months. A charge of failure to use turn signal was dismissed.

Adam J. Bowers, 27, 1168 E. Main St., At. B, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of unauthorized use of property. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine and pay $400 restitution.

Jade T. Jennings, 25, 20650 State Route 694, Cloverdale, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension. He also pleaded no contest to drug paraphernalia and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension.

June 6

Timothy England, 28, 311 Summit St., Defiance, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted assault. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, six-months’ probation.

Leon A. West, 23, 0639 County Road 11C, Napoleon, pleaded guilty to driving under license suspension. Sentence: $100 fine. He was also fined $50 for seat belt and ordered to pay court costs for improper backing.

June 8

Benjamin J. Waisner, 22, 12519 County Road J, Napoleon, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, six-month license suspension, and attend three-day DIP. He was also fined $50 speeding.
