April 5
Wendy L. Parkhill, 43, 2028 N. Eastown Road, Lima, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (cocaine). She faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1:30 p.m. April 27.
April 7
Brandon S. Herron, 32, 405 W. Sycamore St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to domestic violence (1 prior), and disrupting public service. He faces up to 36 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11:30 a.m. May 2.
April 11
Nicole L. Stewart, 36, 1054 Holgate Ave., Defiance, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for perjury. She was given credit for 29 days served. A charge of failure to appear was dismissed.
Raven M. Merschman, Columbus Grove, was granted a divorce from Aaron J. Merschman, Elida. They were married Oct. 6, 2012, and have one child.
Anastacia L. Brooks, Cloverdale, was granted a divorce from Douglas S. Brooks, Cloverdale. They were married Aug. 10, 1996, and have no children.
Santander Bank, Reading, Pa., was granted a foreclosure against Linda M. Johns, Fort Jennings, in the amount of $50,415.09, plus interest and costs.
April 13
Jessica L. Storer, 29, 1113 W. Spring St., St. Marys, pleaded guilty to sexual battery. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conduced. Six counts of furnish alcohol to underage persons was dismissed.
Storer was accused of having sex with a male student from Pandora-Gilboa High School on Nov. 26 at her home at 202 South Ave., Pandora when she was employed as a substitute teacher. Storer admitted to Putnam County Common Pleas Judge Randall Basinger that she had sexual intercourse with the student the morning of Nov. 26 at her home. Her husband, Derrick L. Storer, 33, 03223 Salem Noble Road, St. Marys, has pleaded guilty to three counts furnishing to underage person, two counts dismissed. He faces sentencing 10 a.m. May 16.
