Saturday rally in Lima calls for release of president’s tax returns

LIMA — An event calling on President Donald Trump to release his tax returns will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the U.S. Post Office, 350 W. High St., Lima. The group will meet on the sidewalk on Pierce Street next to the post office.

Held in conjunction with a National Tax March to be held in Washington, D.C., the Lima Tax March is calling for the president to release his returns as well as greater government transparency. Organizers are including a table and chairs for those unable to stand for long periods, as well as postcards to send to area legislators.
