LPD investigating 3 deaths

LIMA — The Lima Police Department was investigating three deaths in two separate incidents Friday.

Lt. Andy Green confirmed two bodies were found in a single apartment downtown at the Argonne Residence Inn on 201 N. Elizabeth St. at approximately 3:15 p.m. Friday.

The LPD would not release the names of the people — a male and a female — because they were trying to reach their families to report the deaths. It was unclear Friday why they died.

In a separate incident, the LDP responded at about noon Friday to a report of a female body being found in an alley off the 700 block of Franklin Street, on Lima’s southeast side.

According to a news release, the woman was Shae Dickerson, 23, of Findlay. Evidence suggests, the release stated, that the body was left in the alley after she had died somewhere else. An autopsy will be done by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office this weekend.

The release states police are following up on several good leads.

No other details were released Friday.
