LIMA — Three men have been charged in Monday’s shooting death of Damere Oliphant.
Gavin R. Lauck, 19, was charged with murder; Collin M. Dysert, 20, was charged with complicity to murder; and Dalton J. Duncan, 19, was charged with complicity to murder, according officials with the Shawnee Township Police Department.
The three men were removed from 111 Cam Court, Apt. 42. According to the Shawnee Township Police Department officials, Dysert lived in Apt. 42. Lauck lived at 451 W. McKibben St., and Duncan’s address was 1816 Kingston Ave.
None of the three men has a record.
The detectives obtained confessions and/or statements from the suspects, and the weapon has been recovered, officials said. An autopsy was performed Tuesday at the Lucas County Coroner’s office.
“The investigation continues, and that’s part of the reason we are not releasing the information. I am not convinced that everything that can be learned has been learned yet,” said Jack Miller, a detective with the Shawnee Township Police Department.
