No one injured in Lima house fire

LIMA — No one was injured in an early morning house fire today.

The fire at 622 S. Metcalf St., was reported at 5:20 a.m. The home owner, Scott May, was able to get out without injury, said Lima Fire Capt. Jack McDermitt.

The fire started in the chimney and spread into the wall and attic causing an estimated $20,000 in damage, McDermitt said.
