FINDLAY — The Findlay Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday night at approximately 8:14 p.m. in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree, 2641 N. Main St., Findlay.
Two female employees that had closed the store were walking to a car in the parking lot with the night deposit. They were approached in the parking lot by a male wearing a mask and hoodie. The male showed a handgun to the females and demanded the money.
The female employees turned the money over to the male, and he fled on foot eastbound down Harrington Avenue. A K-9 track was brought in but did not get very far. The male was not located, and the matter is under investigation. It is not known how much money was involved.
