Buckland seeks 83rd Ohio House seat

FINDLAY — Republican Cheryl Buckland has announced her candidacy to replace state Rep. Robert Sprague, R-Findlay, in the House.

Sprague announced his intention to run for Ohio Treasurer earlier this week, leaving the 83rd House seat, which covers Hancock and Hardin counties and part of Logan County, open.

Buckland is currently serving on the Hancock County Republican Club Executive and Central Committees, Rotary International, the Greater Fostoria Community Foundation and the Farm Bureau. She is touting her experience as a small business owner and as a director of nursing at several health care facilities and as a secondary education director of development.
