LIMA — Starting this year, Lima’s Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, is moving its event from the campus of Ohio State University-Lima and Rhodes State College to Spartan Stadium on Calumet Avenue.
This year’s event will run from 6 p.m. to midnight June 16 and feature a variety of games and events to help raise funds to combat cancer. In its 22 years of existence, Lima’s Relay for Life has raised $1.7 million for cancer research and programs to aid those combating the disease.
