Rain, snow, freezing temperatures could create hazardous driving conditions

LIMA — The chance for light snow and freezing rain could create slick roads tonight and into Saturday.

There is a chance of some type of precipitation in the area but exactly what form depends on the temperature. As the weekend goes on into Sunday, the chance of wintry precipitation increases with the chance of snow, sleet and freezing rain, Allen County Director of Emergency Management Tom Berger reported.

By Monday, it’s all likely to be rain, Berger reported.

Berger warns people using the roadways to be careful and on the lookout for hazardous driving conditions.

Rainfall early next week could cause another round of minor flooding on area rivers.
