LIMA — A 26-year-old Lima man died in Lima after his vehicle struck a utility pole Friday morning, according to the Lima Police Department.
Edward Williams, 26, of Lima, was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center, where he died from injuries suffered in the crash.
Lima Police Department patrol officers discovered a motor vehicle in the 800 block of North Main Street had struck a utility pole at 2:39 a.m. Friday. They found Williams inside the vehicle.
The LPD’s crash investigation unit responded to the scene, and the incident remains under investigation. Additional details were not available Friday morning.
