Dec. 28

Rico P. Quintero, 25, 1350 N. Locust St., Apt. 404, was sentenced to 10 days jail for failure to pay child support. The sentence was suspended on condition he remain current in his payments and pay costs of this action.

Autumn Brickner, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Adam Brickner, Ottoville. They were married May 14, 2011 in Ottoville, and have three children.

Dec. 29

Juan Pardo, 21, 117½ E. Main St., Leipsic, was sentenced to complete the WORTH Center program for failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, and possession of drugs (cocaine). He was placed on three years community control, undergo drug and alcohol assessment and treatment and his license was suspended for six months. Charges of tampering with evidence, possession of drugs (marijuana), drug paraphernalia, and speeding were dismissed.

Pardo was arrested after he abandoned his car in Continental after a car chase that began on state Route 613, east of Continental on May 6. According to reports from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Brent Meyers and Sgt. Mark Brecht were patrolling on State Route 613 east of Continental at about 1:09 p.m. May 6 when they saw a speeding westbound vehicle. An attempt was made to stop the vehicle, but Pardo fled at a high rate of speed into the village. Reports show that Pardo lost control of his vehicle and struck a guide wire on a utility pole, slid back onto the road and nearly hit oncoming traffic. Pardo stopped the vehicle on Sixth Street and ran, but was captured without resistance.

Cassandra R. Elston, 25, 427 S. Keyser St., Holgate, was sentenced to complete the program at the WORTH Center for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included using heroin on Nov. 17, and Nov. 28, and missing a scheduled meeting with her supervisor on Nov. 18. She was placed on three years community control, must pay $1,500 restitution, undergo alcohol drug assessment and treatment, have only one medical provider and one pharmacy and attend AA and NA meetings. She was originally convicted of receiving stolen property and burglary.

Mark A. Hogan, 40, 1009 Grant Ave., Lima, was sentenced to 25 days in jail for theft. He was placed on three years community, must pay $500 restitution, and given credit for one day served. A charge of breaking and entering was dismissed.

Mark A. Junge, 48, 328 S. Keyser St., Deshler, was ordered to complete the Fresh Start Program for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol in Wood County and operating the motor vehicle without proper permission on Sept. 6, using marijuana on Oct. 13, and failing to report the arrest to his supervisor officer. He was placed on three years community control, his license was suspended for six months, he must maintain employment, and have only one medical provider and one pharmacist.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Dec. 23

David T. Gerdeman, 29, 8504 NW 86th St., Oklahoma City, Okla., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. He was also fined $100 for marked lanes.

Scott J. Wilson, 55, 583 S. Perry St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to assault and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $250 fine and complete mental health assessment.

Dec. 27

Jessica L. Storer, 28, 202 South Ave., Pandora, charged with sexual battery, a third-degree felony, and six counts of misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to an underage person, waived preliminary hearing, bound over to common pleas court.

Misty R. Conner, 29, 1545 Crestwood Road, Toledo, pleaded guilty to driving under FRA non-compliance. Sentence: $200 fine. She was also fined $50 for failure to maintain control.

James Berger, 26, 68 E. Main St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to persistent disorderly conduct and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine.

Dec. 29

Stacey L. Gossard, 40, 308 E. Pearl St., Beaverdam, pleaded no contest to passing bad checks and was found guilty. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, $200 suspended.
