The following individuals were indicted Friday following a session of the Putnam County Grand Jury.
Travis Soto, 30, 226½ E. Clinton St., Napoleon; aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.
David M. McKinley, 29, 418 Park St., Marion; burglary and theft of checks.
Tiffany N. Schoepfle, 26, 804 S. Oak St., Ottawa; possession of drugs (heroin) and tampering with evidence.
Russell G. Ellis, 18, 1009 Grant St., Lima; grand theft and obstructing official business.
Mark A. Hogan, 39, 1009 Grant Ave., Lima; breaking and entering and theft.
Steven J. Nienberg, 27, 17373 Road J, Ottawa; two counts felonious assault.
Marquis T. Williams, 32, 244 Lincoln St., Ottawa; falsification in theft.
Nathaniel Estill, 31, 959 Bruce Ave., Lima; nonsupport of dependents.
Juan R. Gutierrez, Jr., 32, 160 S. Locust St., Ottawa; nonsupport of dependents.
Stephanie R. Phillips, 33, 133 Lower Pompey Road, Shelbiana, Ky.; two counts nonsupport of dependents.
Anthony M. Birnesser, 42, 10805 State Route 12, Columbus Grove; theft of a credit card.
Christina R. Hemker, 27, 802 Carolyn Drive, Delphos; forgery (uttering) and forgery.
Matthew D. Thomas, 24, 1593 Summit Road, #1, Cincinnati; complicity.
Eryn L. Arend, 30, 753 E. Wayne St., Paulding; illegal conveyance of weapons or prohibited items onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility.
Terry L. Winter, 42, 161 Main St., Cloverdale; failure to register employment as a sex offender.
Aug. 5
Breonna J. Stephens, 22, 1265 N. Defiance St., Ottawa, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs (attempt) and 12 months in prison for possession of drugs. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrently and she was given credit for 83 days served and any additional days while waiting for transfer. Her license was suspended for one year. Stephens was also sentenced to 12 months in prison for an amended charge of possession of drugs (heroin) and 12 months in prison for escape. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrently a she was given credit for 83 days served. She was also ordered to complete a WORTH Center referral. Another count of possession of drugs was dismissed.
Jarrod J. Holland, 27, 737 N. Metcalf St., Lima, was sentenced to another year of community control for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included operating a motor vehicle without a valid license on Feb. 14 and May 20. He also failed to pay toward his court ordered financial obligations since Sept. 27, 2013. He was originally convicted of failure to comply with the order of a peace officer (attempt).

Allen Moore, Cloverdale, was granted a divorce from Melissa Moore, Cloverdale. They were married March 11, 1995 in Kalida, and have no minor children.

Kristopher D. Scott, 32, 1534 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (heroin) and possession of drugs (cocaine). He faces up to 24 months in prison and $5,000 in fines and 12 months to 10 years’ license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 6.
Logan J. Pothast, 24, 14054 Road 12, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs MDMA. He faces up to 12 months in prison, $2,500 in fines and six months to five years’ license suspension. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered with sentencing set for 9 a.m. Sept. 6. Pothast was placed on an OR bond, must reside at 14054 Road 12, Ottawa, have no contact with individuals who use drugs, must not use illegal drugs, not to leave Putnam County, submit to random drug testing and appear at all court proceedings. Two counts possession of drugs was dismissed.
Aug. 11
Trenton S. Lauf, 38, 267 Main St., Ottoville, was sentenced to 25 years to life on a charge of rape and eight years on illegal use of minor in nudity material or performance. He was found guilty by a jury following a two-day trial last month. The sentenced was ordered to be served consecutive and he was given credit for 283 days served. He must also register as a Tier III sex offender and register every three months for the rest of his life. The victim, now age 13, was between the ages of 10 and 12 when the crimes occurred.
James N. Alexander, 18, 301 Main St., Pandora, was sentenced to 120 days in jail for inducing panic. He was given credit for 82 days served. According to court records, Alexander was accused of causing serious public alarm by threatening an act of violence against the Pandora-Gilboa school district on April 8, 2016. Records show Alexander threatened to blow up the school by “means of the explosive known as C4, a weapon of mass destruction.”

Aug. 8
Debra J. Henry, 55, 20884 Road D, Continental, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.
Aug. 9
Jason P. Unverferth, 37, 10356 Road 17J, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of left of center was dismissed.
Aug. 11
Dilyn Warnimont, 19, 1245 N. Defiance St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to underage possession and was found guilty. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, $200 suspended.
Ricky Eicher, 53, 36 Elm St., West Leipsic, pleaded guilty to no motorcycle endorsement. Sentence: $500 fine, $400 suspended. He was also fined $50 for possession of marijuana and $50 for failure to maintain reasonable control.
