TOLEDO — A former Lima Schools teacher and Elida School board member was sentenced to 10 years in prison today for sex crimes against children.
Brian Anders continued to downplay his behavior saying the boys he had sex with consented. He also said he did not think he would be caught.
U.S. District Court Judge Jack Zouhary expressed concern for Anders believing having sex with children was somehow not as bad if they consented.
Anders pleaded guilty in April to four counts of receipt of material involving the sexual exploitation of children.
