LIMA — An 18-year-old man accused of killing another man during a robbery was assigned a new trial date Thursday for Feb. 7.
Jayleontre Harris, of Lima, is charged with aggravated murder with a gun, aggravated robbery with a gun and aggravated burglary with a gun. A pretrial was scheduled for Sept. 13.
Harris is charged in the May 19 shooting of Eric Staup, 46. Police said Harris showed up at Staup’s home at 637 N. Metcalf St., to rob Staup.
