Flooding possible in Allen County today

LIMA — The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana issued a urban and small stream flood advisory in southeastern Allen County.

Radap showed heavy rain due to thunderstorms, with estimates of 1 to 2 inches already falling with additional rainfall expected. That could cause flooding in urban areas and streams with poor drainage.

Areas of concern include Lima and areas near Kemp, Contant and Yoder roads.

The runoff could flood small creeks and streams, highways, street and underpasses, as well as other area with drainage problems or low-lying spots.
