July 15

Cassandra R. Elston, 24, 427 S. Keyser St., Holgate, was sentenced to 90 days jail for receiving stolen property and burglary. She was given credit for 70 days served, must attend AA and NA meetings, have only one medical provider and one pharmacy, undergo drug and alcohol use monitoring and pay restitution of $1,500 to the victim. She was also placed on three years community control. A charge of burglary was dismissed.

Derek D. Tussing, 25, 3899 Begg Road, Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for burglary, and another 18 months in prison for burglary. The sentences were ordered to be served consecutively and he was given credit for 207 days served, plus any additional days served while pending transfer into custody. A charge of receiving stolen property was dismissed.

Joseph M. Meeker, 29, 11549 County Highway 42, Upper Sandusky, pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault. He faces up to 36 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentencing investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 17.

Chad M. Neuman, 31, 333 N. Main St., Lima, pleaded guilty to theft over $1,000. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was revoked while a presentencing investigation is conducted.

July 20

Montgomery J. Risner, 21, 14625 Road C, Continental, was sentenced to 10 days in jail for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included attempting to make contact with his previous victim via Skype on July 2 and July 8. He was given credit for five days served, must have no contact with a minor and none with the victim, maintain a 10 p.m. curfew, attend counseling at Pathways Counseling Center, abide by all sex offender registration requirements, not consume alcohol and obtain employment. He was placed on five years community control. Risner was convicted of two counts of unlawful sexual conduct.

July 22

Ditech Financial LLC, Tempe, Arizona, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Tammie M. Brooks, Leipsic, and Kim A. Brooks, Leipsic, in the amount of $85,935.40, plus interest and costs.

July 11

Jayson L. Tirey, 37, 20691 Road P, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

July 18

Billy A. Colley, 53, 531 N. Metcalf St., Lima, pleaded guilty to fishing without a license. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $150 fine.

July 19

Mark A. Hogan, 39, 1009 Grant Ave., Lima, charged with breaking and entering and theft, felonies, bound over to common pleas court.

Russell G. Ellis, 18, 1167 Benard Ave., Findlay, charged with theft, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Timothy T. Duling, 42, 13616 Road 13, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of ATV on roadway was dismissed.

July 21

Donald T. Boone, 44, 110 Monterey St., Pontiac, Mich., pleaded guilty to failure to control. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of hip/skip was dismissed.

John M. Kissell, 78, 102 Robinson Ave., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to failure to control. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of OVI first-offense was dismissed.
