LIMA — The Lima Police Department have located a suspect who was wanted for questioning concerning a shooting that took place at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Shots were fired at several people at 722 E. Kibby St., and several witnesses observed the incident. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle moments later a few blocks away from the incident. It was later confirmed that the vehicle had been driven by Tyler Lawrence, 23, of Lima.

Lawrence turned himself in to the police department Friday with his attorney and turned over the firearm. Lawrence has been charged with felonious assault and is being held at the Allen County Jail.
