May 16

Amanda S. Decair, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Gregory A. Decair, Toledo. They were married Nov. 5, 2012, and have two children.

May 17

Federal National Mortgage Association, Beaverton, Ore., was granted a foreclosure judgment against Lannie L. Byrne, Ottawa, and Mark T. Byrne, Ottawa, in the amount of $69,429.09, plus interest and costs.

Melvin Borton, Ottawa, and Linda Borton, Ottawa, was granted judgment against Jeffery Corbitt, Continental, and Coralea R. Corbitt, Continental, in the amount of $100,767.17, plus interest and costs.

May 18

Jennifer J. Gillette, 25, 102 Charloe Circle, Ottawa, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for receiving stolen property and 18 months for burglary. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrent, and she was given credit for 49 days served. Gillette was also ordered to pay $1,500 in restitution. Charges of receiving stolen property and two counts burglary were dismissed.

Gina M. Schrader, 37, 221 S. Main St., Delphos, pleaded guilty to burglary. She faces up to 36 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 2 p.m. June 30. Charges of theft and breaking and entering were dismissed.

Douglas A. Bush, 21, 316 E. Wall St., Paulding, pleaded guilty to grand theft. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 2:30 p.m. June 30. Charges of theft and forgery were dismissed.

Craig M. Spitnale, Ottoville, and Jennifer R. Spitnale, Ottoville, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Dec. 4, 2004 in Ottoville, and have no minor children.

May 19

April M. Adair, Oakwood, and Schey R. Adair, Continental, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Aug. 16, 2008 in Dupont, and have no children.

Michael G. Brinkman, North Baltimore, was granted a divorce from Penny D. Brinkman, Columbus Grove. They were married Oct. 15, 1983, and have no minor children.

May 12

Josie Masse, 20, 147 E. Canal St., Ottoville, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $250 fine, perform 40 hours community service, and pay $200 restitution to Subway, Ottoville, and no contact with Subway for two years including by phone, text, fax, email or any other means.

Corey D. Dolt, 26, 23090 Road Q, Lot B, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine, and no contact with victim or her property. Charges of passing bad checks and disorderly conduct were dismissed.

Thomas E. Casey, 73, 2836 W. Breese Road, Lima, pleaded guilty to illegal distribution of cigarettes. Sentence: Three days jail, suspended, and $50 fine.

May 16

Mickey J. Halker, 39, 310 Birch Ave., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to second-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $1,500 fine, $750 suspended, three-year license suspension, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Charges of driving under OVI suspension and speeding were dismissed.

Matthew Aguirre, 26, 313 E. Cross St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to second-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $400 suspended, three-year license suspension, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Charges of driving under OVI suspension and speeding were dismissed.

Ernesto Loredo, 59, 162½ W. Main St., Ottawa, pleaded no contest to theft and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $150 fine, 40 hours community service, pay $8.98 restitution to Teds Market, and not to be present at Teds Market for one year.

May 17

Steven J. Unterbrink, 48, 505 Tecumseh Trail, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. He was fined $50 for open container. A charge of left of center was dismissed.

Matthew Leopold, 32, 8667 Road 11, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to violating a protection order. Sentence: 180 days jail, 178 days suspended, $250 fine, must keep 1,000 feet from victim’s residence and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Ryan W. Scott, 19, 18806 Road 10, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to first-offense OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. He also pleaded no contest to underage possession and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended and concurrent to other case, and $150 fine. He also pleaded no contest to drug paraphernalia and drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: Six-month license suspension and $150 fine on each count. He was also fined $50 for headlights required.
