Missing autistic teen from Lima found in Hancock County

LIMA — An autistic juvenile from Lima who was missing has been found in Hancock County, the Lima Police Department reported.

The LPD reported Thursday morning that Steven Engle, 17, left his residence in the 1100 block of Boyer Street between 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Engle has autism.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol used an aviation unit to help officers search for Engle, according to Lima police. Eventually, the boy was located in Hancock County on Thursday afternoon.
