LIMA — The Lima Fire Department will begin flushing fire hydrants on May 1.
As hydrants are flushed, residents may experience some fluctuations in water pressure and possible discoloration of their water. If discoloration occurs, residents are advised to run the cold water tap until the water clears and avoid washing clothes until the water clears.
Should any clothes be discolored, contact the Lima Fire Department at 419-221-5151 for a cleaning solution.
