LIMA — Mona Willamowski was appointed to the Allen County Board of Elections on Monday by Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted.
Willamowski will complete the unexpired term of David Rodabaugh, a Republican, who was appointed a Lima Municipal Court judge in February. That term will expire Feb. 28, 2018.
An even number of both Republicans and Democrats are needed to ensure bipartisan representation on each of Ohio’s 88 county boards of elections. Willamowski was appointed after being recommended by the Allen County Republican Executive Committee.
