LIMA — The Rev. Kent R. Kaufman has been appointed as the new pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish in Lima and St. Patrick Parish in Spencerville, the Catholic Diocese of Toledo announced Monday.
Kaufman will be replacing the Rev. Stephen Blum, who is retiring July 1.
Kaufman has been pastor the last eight years at All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford, a church of 1,100 families outside Toledo. All Saints Church was formed in 1991 when SS. Cyril & Methodius and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic churches combined.
Before his appointment at All Saints Parish, Kaufman was the pastor at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish in Upper Sandusky.
