LIMA — A civil service test for an entry-level firefighter position with the Lima Fire Department will be held at 9 a.m. March 5 at Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center.
To help prepare for the test, the department will hold an informational session at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Lima Municipal Building. Applications will be available at the meeting, as well as at the Central Fire Station on South Main Street and at the Civil Service Board office, located on the second floor of the Colonial Building, 212 N. Elizabeth St.
Applications must be turned in to Andy King at the Civil Service Board office by Feb. 22.Q
