Master Gardener course to be held at OSU-Lima

LIMA — People interested in becoming better gardeners are encouraged to take part in the Master Gardener Volunteer training course, beginning March 8 at OSU-Lima, held by the Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardeners in partnership with the Allen County OSU Extension Master Gardeners.

Classes will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 26. The cost for the class is $150, which includes a volunteer manual, course handouts and refreshments. Participants will have to get fingerprinted for a background check at their own expense.

Master Gardener Volunteers will, upon completion of the course, be able to provide educational services on gardening at horticulture to their communities.
