LIMA — Apollo Career Center is offering Adult Basic Literacy Education in Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, Van Wert and Paulding counties. Orientations for these free classes will be held Monday and Tuesday.
These classes help adults improve their reading comprehension, either in preparation for a GED diploma, a job search, or postsecondary instruction.
Classes will be held:
Mondays:
•9 a.m. to noon — Ohio Means Jobs Allen County
•9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Vantage Career Center
•1 to 4 p.m. — Delphos Public Library
Tuesdays:
•9 a.m. to noon — Forest Park United Methodist Church
•9 a.m. to noon — Wapakoneta LACCA (2nd floor)
•9 a.m. to noon — Celina LACCA
•Noon to 3 p.m. — Ohio Means Jobs Paulding County
•5 to 8 p.m. — St. Paul Church, St. Marys
•6 to 9 p.m. — Apollo Career Center Room 231
•6 to 9 p.m. — Vantage Career Center
