LIMA — Men are needed to help greet pupils at Lima’s middle schools with high-fives and signs of encouragement Thursday.
Step Up! hopes to line up 100 men to welcome and encourage pupils on their way into schools. They’ll remain there for about 20 minutes. Volunteers should call Chris Jackson at 419-371-6198 or Monica Pughsley at 419-228-7766 to commit to welcome students to a particular school.
Volunteers are needed at North Middle School at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, South Science Technology Magnet at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Liberty Arts Magnet at 7:30 a.m. and West Middle School at 7:45 a.m.
