Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Oct. 15

Eric J. Guerra, 29, 25 W. Mathias St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to domestic violence (prior offense). He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. Nov. 24. Defendant is allowed to have contact with the victim for marriage counseling and to exchange minor children for visitation.

Oct. 19

Justin D. Lawrence, 25, 500 W. Main St., Belmore, was found guilty by a jury of having unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The jury also found the defendant was 10 years or more older than the victim at the time of the offense. Bond was revoked and Lawrence was remanded to jail until a sentencing hearing set for 2:30 p.m. Oct. 28.

The First National Bank of Pandora, was granted judgment against the Institute of Therapeutic Massage, Inc., Karl U, Meyer, Ottawa, and Brenda E. Meyer, Ottawa, in the amount of $44,003.11, plus interest and costs. The bank also was granted judgment against the defendant’s in the amount of $1,000, plus plaintiff’s initial attorney fees.

Trey C. Macdonald, Continental, and Stephanie M. Macdonald, Continental, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married April 5, 2006 in Ottawa, and have three children.

Oct. 19

Chrystian J. Reed, 22, 106 E. South St., Lot 9, Columbus Grove, charged with theft, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Adam L. Morman, 33, 23090 Lot K, Road Q, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to OVI second-offense. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $475 suspended, three-year license suspension and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Charges of seat belt and left of center were dismissed.

Clarissa M. Schlegel, 23, 15896 Road 108, Paulding, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, $100 suspended, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Travis T. Tapia, 27, 203 S. Broadway St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 175 days suspended, $250 fine, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Shawn M. Woolbright, 31, 18593 Road B13, Continental, was found guilty by a jury of domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 175 days suspended, $250 fine, complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center and no contact with victim for two years.

Oct. 20

Franklin D. Childs, 47, 226 S. Walnut St., Apt. B, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under FRA compliance. Sentence: $250 fine.

Oct. 22

Steven C. Brayton, 39, 513 N. Rosedale St., Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $250 fine.
