LIMA — Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is inviting local girls to register for the organization.
According to a news release, Girl Scouts provides opportunities for making friends, trying new things and exercising leadership skills through activities like building robots, participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, playing sports and more.
While Girl Scouts is open to all girls from kindergarten through grade 12, anyone over the age of 18 can become a Girl Scout volunteer. Both girls and adult volunteers can join at any time of the year. To join Girl Scouts or learn more about volunteering, visit girlscouts.org/join.
