MINSTER — A German-American walking club from Fairborn, the Ohio Wander Freunde, will host a Volkswalk in Minster on Saturday. The club describes a Volkswalk as a free, planned walk of a certain distance, with the intention of walking “with friends and family at your own pace for the health of it.”
In the Minster Volkswalk, participants can complete routes of 5K, 10K or 15K. Written directions for the routes will be provided.
All participants must register and sign a start card, which is to be returned when finished. Those who want a stamp assigned to this walk by the American Volksport Association can get one for their record books for $3.
