CASA moving offices

LIMA — After receiving almost $1.6 million in new funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, Court Appointed Special Advocates will be moving its offices in the Crime Victim Services building on North Elizabeth Street.

CASA is planning on having two offices and three cubicles in the basement of the building, while Elder Victim Ministry will expand into CASA’s current space on the second floor. Allen County Building and Ground Superintendent Dana Sterling has expressed concern about cooling the new offices next year, but CVS director David Voth was hopeful that there could potentially be some room in the new funding to offset additional cooling next year.

Permits for the new office space are expected to be approved within the next two to three weeks.
