LIMA — The Lima Fire Department responded to a fire at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters found a small fire in the soffit of the roof of Smoke Man’s Barbecue, 629 S. Main St.
Firefighters extinguished the fire quickly and were on the scene for about an hour. No damage was reported to the inside of the building. Damage estimate to the outside of the building was estimated at about $1,000.
Cause of the fire was not determined but was not believed to be suspicious.
