One person injured in crash on I-75

MOUNT CORY — The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred at 1:49 p.m. Friday on Interstate 75 near mile post 149 in Hancock County.

Amanda Wisener, 30, of Wapakoneta, was driving a 2011 Jeep Patriot north on I-75. Gary Tiell, 58, of Findlay, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Trailblazer stopped in traffic due to road construction. Wisener failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck Tiell’s vehicle in the rear. Wisener’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and rolled onto its top. Tiell was forced into the median, where his vehicle came to a rest.

Wisener was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay with non-life threatening injuries. Wisener was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
