LIMA — Police would not release the name of the woman involved in three accidents and leaving the scene of all of them Thursday.
The driver has been cited after a series of hit-skip accidents that occurred Thursday.
The driver was involved in a hit-skip accident at the intersection of Allentown Road and University Boulevard. After fleeing the scene, the driver was also involved in accidents on the 1500 block and 800 block of Brice Avenue. She was finally caught at the 1200 block of North Central Avenue a few minutes after the initial crash.
The incident remains under investigation, according to patrolman Jason Rhodes with the LPD. It is believed the woman was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, but Rhodes said charges for that offense have not yet been filed.
