LIMA — Area law enforcement agencies will be on hand for Coffee With a Cop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 27 at the North West Street McDonald’s.
Agencies that will be represented include the Lima Police Department, Allen County Sheriff, Shawnee Township Police Department, Bluffton Police Department and the Delphos Police Department. The event allows members of the public to sit down with law enforcement officers in an informal setting with the intention of building more positive relationships.
Event organizers will also hold a summer safety festival during Coffee With a Cop, with several specialty units in law enforcement on hand, including the bomb squad, the mounted posse, the K-9 and the bike units.
There is no cost to attend.
